月份总是大写
英语的月份名称是专有名词，第一个字母永远大写，在句子中间也一样：My birthday is in June.
缩写也大写，通常加一个点：Jan.、Feb.、Aug.。May、June、July 很短，正式文章里常常不缩写。
in May 还是 on May 5th？
- 只说月份用 in：in March（在三月）、in December 2025。
- 说到具体哪一天用 on：on March 3rd（在三月三日）。
- 表示“下个月”“上个月”时不加介词：next month、last April。
日期怎么写、怎么读
中文按“年、月、日”的顺序写日期；美式英语通常是“月、日、年”：

要特别注意纯数字日期：美国人写 7/4 表示7月4日，而英国和很多其他地方写 4/7。看到两位都在12以内的数字日期时，最好确认一下，或者直接写出月份名称。
读日期时，日子一般用序数词：July 4 读作 July fourth，不读 July four。数字的读法见英文数字。
季节
四季是 spring（春）、summer（夏）、fall 或 autumn（秋，美国多说 fall）、winter（冬）。和月份不同，季节名称不大写：in the summer。
常见错误
- 写成小写： january 应该写 January。
- 拼错 February： 中间有个 r（Feb-ru-ary），很多英语母语者也会把这个 r 读得很轻。
- 说 in May 5th： 具体日期用 on。
- 按中文顺序说日期： 美国人更常说 July 4，不说 2026 July 4。
