  • 동사는 원형으로 실었어요. be에는 am, is, are, was, were, been이, have에는 has, had가, do에는 does, did가 포함돼요.
  • 명사는 단수형이에요. year에는 years도 포함돼요. people은 person의 일반적인 복수형이에요.
  • a에는 an도 포함돼요. an은 모음 소리 앞에 써요: a cat, an apple, an hour.
  • me, him, us, my, their

the / a관사: the는 서로 아는 것, a는 여러 개 중 하나The bus is late. I need a pen.
따로 번역하지 않아요Do you like tea? I don’t know.
have가지다; 현재완료도 만들어요I have finished.
will미래It will rain.
there is / are~이 있다There is a café here.
it날씨나 시간을 말할 때 쓰는 주어It’s cold.

  • to는 /tə/처럼: "I want to go".
  • and는 /ən/처럼: "you and me".
  • of는 /əv/처럼: "a cup of tea".
  • can은 /kən/처럼: "I can swim".

  • get up (일어나다), go out (나가다), come back (돌아오다), look at (보다)
  • a lot of (많은), all day (하루 종일), one more time (한 번 더)
  • I think… (제 생각에는…), I don’t know (몰라요), How are you?
