  • Los verbos van en su forma base. be incluye am, is, are, was, were y been; have incluye has y had; do incluye does y did.
  • Los sustantivos van en singular: year incluye years. people es el plural normal de person.
  • a incluye an, que se usa delante de un sonido vocálico: a cat, an apple, an hour.
  • Formas de pronombre como me, him, us, my y their van aparte, porque son palabras distintas.

doforma preguntas y negaciones; no se traduceDo you like tea? (¿Te gusta el té?) I don’t know. (No sé.)
(Tengo coche.) I have finished. (He terminado.)
willfuturoIt will rain. (Va a llover.)
there is / arehayThere is a café here.

El inglés casi siempre necesita sujeto: "I am tired", no "Am tired".

  • to suena /tə/: "I want to go".
  • and suena /ən/: "you and me".
  • of suena /əv/: "a cup of tea".
  • can suena /kən/: "I can swim".

  • get up (levantarse), go out (salir), come back (volver), look at (mirar)
  • a lot of (mucho), all day (todo el día), one more time (una vez más)
  • I think… (creo que…), I don’t know (no sé), How are you?
